Was channel-surfing last nite, waiting for the Chelski-Arse game...
Came across Star Awards 2006, on ch8.

Yeeahh...

Nothing better was on...

Really...

Glammed-up local celebs acting oh-so-emotional, B-listed HK & Taiwanese celebs guest presenters, crammed venue, cheapo looking stage sets...

How exciting...

I dun understand.
All same company wat...
Why are they so emotional? Why the tears?
All same company wat...
Is there special bonus if u win?
Got extra pay raise issit?
Maybe winning an award means more shows next year, more time on tv?

Overall, the awards ceremony was cringe-worthy at best.
The only highlight for me was Jay Chou's ex-gf, the delectable Miss Patty Hou:
