Did Italy deserve to be in the finals? Nope
Did France deserve to be in the finals? Nope

The whole match was forgettable, if not for Zinedine Zidane's moment of madness..

In Zizou's defence, I think he was trying to make a statement on the Serie A match fixing scandal... Note that he aimed his headbutt not at Marco Materazzi but specifically at the crest of the Italian Football Federation... What a way to end a career! BAM!!!

On the upside,
1) That's 1 month gone = 1 month of not watching golf on ESPN & 1.5 months more to the start of a new football season!
2) Sven Goran Eriksson is no longer England manager
3) David Beckham is no longer England captain
4) Manchester United might lose 2 of its most important players - horse-face Ruud van Nistelrooy & that arrogant cheating bastard of a kanina, a bloody disgrace to humankind Cristiano Ronaldo
5) Argentina's classy sublime passing game
6) Germany's fast paced robust attacking play

Well, the end of the World Cup marks the start of my exercise regime.
