Layer Cake Review

You gotta love a good ol' british cockney gangster flick...

Layer Cake is a sleek but gritty, fast-paced crime thriller. Its plot is complex but very intense & engaging. Its stylish visuals, amidst the bleak & grey UK setting, hits you from the start and it never stops, keep pounding at you, one scene after another...You cry out for help, it stops for awhile, as if to give you a breather....and it comes at you again, with increased frenzied rampage...

The director, Matthew Vaughn, is one of the coolest dudes around becos

1) The dude married Claudia Schiffer & made her preggers...you gotta give respect to dat...the dude freaking boned my 1st supermodel crush!!!

2) Guy Ritchie is his best mate...despite marrying crazy "Kabbalah-is-great-I'm-so-British" Madonna, Guy Ritchie is one of the most talented directors around...so by association, this Vaughn dude is cool also...

3) He produced Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels & Snatch; 2 of my all time faves....having said that, it's no wonder Layer Cake is somewhat similar to both films in style...

Daniel Craig is da man. 'Nuff said.

Sienna Miller is freaking unbelievably HOT . Seeing her is worth the price of the pirated DVD....
Somebody should just kill Jude Law for cheating on precious Sienna...

Layer Cake is fucking bloody good fun, go see it. If not, I'll just have to come over & kick your nads.

"You're born - you take shit.
You get out in the world - you take more shit.
You climb a little higher - you take less shit.
Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere & you've forgotten what shit even looks like.
Welcome to the LAYER CAKE son"

Jo, there's a new tv series over here called "My name is Earl" starring Jason Lee that's started out pretty funny so far. Check it out on e-mule when you've got the time.
