My toilet....smells like DETTOL...nice :)
But the toilet bowl....you know u watch those ads about detergents and household appliances, the guy in the white overcoat, the scientist, will talk about stubborn stains....Always thought they never exist until the day I wash the toilet bowl.....I bleached the bloody thing for like 10 hours or more and scrub the bowl but still the stains remain....sigh....now i know how an indon or filipino maid feels when the stains decide to be stubborn....

(I would like to state for the record that the stains are not solely the cause of my poo but the previous occupants', cos when i moved in the stains are already there....gross rite....)

Another thing, wats that thing that has alot of holes that drains water from the toilet floor....wat do call that? anyways i didnt touch that thing cos got lots of hair stuck there....that thing looks damn disgusting....must get a pair of latex gloves or something to touch it...must be damn toxic......

Watched the last of my filmfest movies...2 movies today, 9.15pm and at midnite...

The 9.15pm show, Raw Deal: A Question of Consent is a documentary about [true story] a stripper that got raped, reported the crime but instead of the culprits getting charged with rape, the victim got charged with false reporting, wasting everybody's time. It's quite good, throughout the whole 90 minutes I was debating in my mind whether the intercourse was actually consented or rape. There's no biased reporting, as the director gave both sides of the story and at the end we left the theather with lingering parts of the actual video footage of the night in question, asking ourselves was she raped or not. We can see from this video footage, filmed by the fraternity boys, these bunch of dicks got the woman pissed drunk and so wasted that she consented to those sexual acts....toward the end we could see that she was clearly struggling and the fuckers (no pun intend) were pinning her down...in the end the frat boys got off easy....stuff like this happen only in US....hahaha, free world advocate, the good ol' US of A....

Midnite show, PULSE. I thought it's gonna be a typical Jap horror movie but sigh....dunno how to describe it....dun understand the movie....the horror element started off well ala the RING, but it could carry the whole movie...the characters and the loneliness themes dun mix well with the horror part. I keep asking myself whether it's a horror movie or a movie exploring loneliness and (quoting from the link of review of the movie that i found) dehumanised solitude. Errr....ok, cool....but still dun understand wat the movie is about.....i not that deep to see the symbols and images that the director wanted me to see....The reviews I found on the net, praise the show, but all I could offer at the end of the movie is just a simple "Huh?"
Go figure...
