Our names say alot about us, our culture, our background, the aspirations our parents have for us etc.
On a recent session of Football Manager 2007, I came across this player with the coolest name:

Initially, I assumed he was one of the regenerated players the game engine cooks up at the end of every game season - ie. fake. But out of curiosity, I googled his name and... he actually exists!!!
Wikipedia says:
"Mark De Man (born April 27, 1983) is a Belgian footballer currently playing at R.S.C. Anderlecht. He is most often deployed as a defensive midfielder but has also been used at centre back or right full back."
under the same wikipage, under personal information...
"Nickname: Mark The Man"
:)
Unsurprisingly, his preferred positions are defensive midfielder & defender...
I guess with a name like that, he's definitely gonna find it hard playing in an attacking role... hehe
And his parents must be football fans?
